All About Moving Company

The actual move went smoothly and the movers themselves, Junior and his team was great. Also, the quoted price was great.

However, the manager Steve was horribly rude and screamed at me due to a miscommunication within their office. I have never ever been yelled at by a stranger in that way and it rattled me for a long time. I had rescheduled my move (not for a frivolous reason, I was closing on a home and my closing was pushed back so I could not physically or legally move in) and my reschedule had been acknowledged, but for some reason it did not reach the manager and movers showed up at the location. The manager then yelled at me, said I had no regard for people and he was going to charge me for the move and when I was able to state between yells that my request to reschedule was sent and acknowledged, stated that he called me the day before and I confirmed - which he did not and why would I or anyone else even do that? Then he hung up on me. While Ines did acknowledge it was a miscommunication in their office and apologize to me, I never received an apology from the manager. I was also charged a deposit which was not stated in their original terms or when I originally rescheduled; and while I would have been happy to oblige if that was just their policy for reschedules, having that "penalty" for having communicated appropriately and then being yelled at felt like insult to injury (I did let it go to keep the peace, just wasn't happy about it.)

Finally, after the move happened (which, again, was great) I was charged the full price again and reached out several times to speak with Ines and Barb. After over a month and a half of trying to get them to refund me the excess money, I had to finally put in a credit card claim, which is still pending. The headache was not worth the great price and great movers.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $487

This moving company damaged the outside walls and inside wallls extensively and then denied they created the damage..very disappointing! Follow-up from customer service was very poor and avoided at least 15 phone calls. You pay for professional service but getting two guys in a pick-up truck that do not know what they are doing is very troubling. They also claimed they had insurance which also may have been a lie. Legal action is unfortunately the only option for me.

I reviewed many quotes and found this company to be the least expensive and honest.  There quote clearly stated and displayed that there were no hidden or extra fees.  I have had poor past experiences with moving companies who at the end of the move hit me up for all kind of extra charges. This company was on time..they move quickly and efficiently.  My items were wrapped well and there was no damage.  The movers were very polite and did not take a lot of breaks.  This was a great experince and I would encourage any one to use this moving service.  THANK YOU ALL ABOUT MOVING COMPANY!! Do not use this moving company if you value your belongs and are looking for good customer service.   When we noticed our valuables had gone missing during the move (within an hour of the movers leaving our new place) we called the company to complain, all I got for a response was "this can't be, this has never happened".  After filing a police report, it took two weeks for the manager to finally try to work out an arrangement with me (which wasn't even close to comparable to the value of the items that were stolen), and when I discussed with him that I didn't feel this was fair compensation, all he did was scream at me in a very demeaning manor over the phone and call me a liar.   I will definitely not be using this copany in the future and I highly recommend that no one else hires them for their move either.

I hired these guys to move me from Walpole, MA to Acton, MA. They arrived on time, the crew was very friendly and polite. The foreman seemed like he was a bit hungover. They got me moved in three hours or less since I was only moving a one bedroom apt. However, they didn't charge the deposit 24 hours in advance, the crew stopped at a gas station less than two miles from my apt while they were still on the clock, they didn't take care to make sure that snow/dirt didn't get on my furniture, and there was a major billing mistake that took a week of phone calls to correct. The rates were reasonable, they don't start the clock until they arrive, and they were very quick to get the move completed but there are definitely some red flags that will give me pause if I ever need to hire movers again.
